Shipping & Returns

UK Shipping

A £2.50 postage charge applies to most orders up to £20, low value, light weight items like carabineer’s and chalk bags. Normally delivered by the next working day, this service is not signed for or recorded. If you wish to upgrade to a recorded delivery please do so at the checkout.

A £5.50 postage charge applies to most orders up to £30, placed regardless of the quantity ordered. Normally delivered the next working day before 1pm and will need to be signed for upon your receipt of the goods.

Free delivery on all UK orders over £60, except EU Countries, this is £5.75.

EU Shipping

We currently only ship to these countries at the moment Austria, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Corsica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Irish Republic, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madeira, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

A £11.75 postage charge applies to most orders placed regardless of the quantity ordered.

All EU orders over £60 are £5.75.

Next day delivery (Except EU Countries)

We will make every effort to insure your order arrives with you as quickly as possible. If you require next day delivery please insure you place you orders before 12pm, between Monday-Friday in order for us to process it in time. The barn can not accept responsibility for the late delivery of items, although we aim to provide a next day delivery service it is the responsibility of the carrier to ensure this.

Receipt of goods

When receiving the goods sent to you, you will be required to sign for the items. If you are not there to do this these items may be sent back to the carrier’s depot. If you decide to leave alternative instructions for the carrier i.e. drop at neighbors; The Barn can not be responsible for the safe receipt of goods if you have not personally signed for them. If you are unable to be at home for the receipt of these goods, consider having them sent to your workplace for example. For the first transaction you make with barn we require that the package is sent to the card holder’s actual address, this is a measure put in place to prevent fraud. After the first transaction we can send it to an address of your choosing.

RETURNS POLICY

Any items bought from 1st December 2010 to the 25th December 2010 can be returned by 10th January 2011.

For most of our products we request that you return any unwanted goods within a 14 day period. Providing the products are completely unused and still have there tags on we are happy to refund your money.

If purchasing harnesses, slings, quick draws or personal anchoring systems, we ask they are returned within a 7 day period.

Please note

Unless items are faulty the postage cost of any returns will be the customers responsibility, we do not require that you send the items by recorded delivery but should we not receive the items we will be unable to give you a refund for your unwanted product, so it may be worth considering. When sending us you returned items please ensure you include a note containing: your name and address, your original order number and the date you purchased the goods and if possible your reason for return. This will help us to process you refund as quickly as possible.

Returning faulty goods

If you are returning goods to us which you have deemed to be faulty, depending on whether the manufacturer accepts that the goods are faulty, the item will be replaced, repaired or you will receive a refund, we will also refund the cost of postage to what we deem as being a reasonable amount. Please ring or email us before returning any faulty goods

Retuned goods that have been used

If you return items to us that appear dirty, damaged or have clearly been used we reserve the right to not offer you a refund and the cost of the return postage will be your own responsibility.

Stock Levels

If by any chance you make an order on our web site but we unfortunately are out of stock, you will be contact as soon as possible, either by phone or email. At this point we will either be able to tell you when the product is next available or you will be able to immediately cancel your order. We obviously want the stock levels to be as accurate as possible to avoid any disappointment, but it can happen if simultaneously people order a certain product at once. Certain product may be obtainable very quickly any way and we will aim to get the product to you as quick as possible.
